I’m a journalist working from New York, specializing in freelance and contract work. This means that I often move to and from different papers and publishing houses, working wherever my skills are needed. What my job often entails is being on the spot of news that needs covering as soon as it happens. Sometimes journalism is stressful because you are often required to think on your feet and improvise, which are often important ingredients to success.

We will talk about journalism and print as an industry, as well as what it takes to become an active member of the profession.
